This is the privacy notice (Datenschutzerklärung) for merkora.dev. It describes this site only. The Newmatik company site at newmatik.com is a different service and has its own notice.

Opening a page
The site is served by Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. Delivering a page creates a connection record: IP address, date and time, the address you requested, and the browser’s user agent. Cloudflare processes that record to deliver the page and to keep the site available. We do not receive a visitor profile from it, and we do not use it for advertising or analytics.
The legal basis is our legitimate interest in running a site that loads and stays up (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). You can object. If you do, we stop unless we can show compelling grounds that override your interest.
Connection data can be processed in the United States. Cloudflare, Inc. is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, so that transfer rests on the Commission’s adequacy decision. We keep no copy of our own. The host keeps an operational record only as long as it needs it to run and protect the service.
This site does not set cookies. It does not load analytics, advertising, or fonts from another server. The typefaces are files on merkora.dev.
Light and dark theme
If you switch theme, the choice is stored in local storage on your device. It is not sent to us. Clearing the site’s data in your browser removes it.
If you write to service@newmatik.com, we use your address and your message to reply and to follow up on what you asked. The basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR when the message is about a contract we are discussing, and Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR when we are simply answering you. We keep the thread while that work is open, and longer only where commercial or tax law requires us to keep business correspondence. We do not add you to a mailing list because you wrote.
What this site does not do
There is no account, no checkout and no analytics here. We do not sell personal data, and we do not make automated decisions about you.
Your rights
You can ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, or a copy of personal data we hold about you, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interest. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it. You can also complain to the authority for our seat:
